GETTING STARTED WITH DISCIPLE MAKERS

The chance to work with a fellow DISCIPLE MAKER can be a much needed blessing for you both! We’ll show you how to help a DISCIPLE MAKER, who is being fed, feeding self, and feeding others stay fresh in their faith and growth. We believe that if you use STEPS in the way it’s intended, you’ll produce DISCIPLE MAKERS that become life long servants of Jesus.

MAKE SURE THE PERSON YOU ARE WORKING WITH HAVE CLEARLY IDENTIFIED THEMSELVES AS A DISCIPLE MAKER.

HAVE “THE TALK” IN YOUR FIRST MEETING. “The Talk” sets the table for your discipleship relationship. Most versions have an overview of the Assessment, Growth Rhythms, and Meetings. It also shapes the expectations in a new discipleship relationship for both the disciple and the disciple maker. More than likely it will take up your entire time for your first encounter especially as you learn more about them.
